Barlavento is a private day
school for boys and girls
aged from four to eleven years inclusive.
Children of all nationalities are welcome.
The school follows the English National Curriculum in most subjects.
In 2005 Judy Robinson – Certificate of Education – University of
Birmingham – who had been our Junior 2 Class teacher from September,
1991 was appointed Headmistress.
Sheena da Luz who held that position since the school was
established in 1975 continues as one of three advisory governors.
Judy is supported by a dedicated staff of loyal teachers.
Barlavento boasts a very high standard of education.
Many former pupils have moved on to some of Britain’s top public
schools.
